SANTIAGO CITY, 25 APRIL 2026 – Santiago City Mayor Atty. Alyssa Sheena Tan announced the launch of the KaisaKa mobile app during the opening ceremony of the 2026 Balamban Dance Festival and the 32nd Cityhood Founding Anniversary at the City Hall Park in San Andres, Santiago City.

The KaisaKa app, developed in partnership with Easybus PH, is an app that aids the citizens of Santiago City in accessing government services, social welfare programs, and community engagement.

“Naglalayon po tayo na ilapit ang serbisyo at ipaalam sa lahat ng mamamayang Santiagueño ang iba’t-ibang mga programa na kanilang pakikinabangan, kung saan napupunta ang bawat buwis [at] bawat sentimo na kanilang pinaghihirapan na binabayad sa ating gobyernong lokal,” Mayor Tan remarked.

KaisaKa mainly simplifies the relationship between the local government and its citizens through these key features:

Government Services

This includes transactions for business permits, real property tax, and local civil registry, which users can access and print the required forms that are available in the app.KaisaKa also presents a transparency section where the public can see Santiago City Government’s annual budgets, financial reports, legislative ordinances, and executive orders to ensure full transparency and accountability.

Other agencies like the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB), Land Transportation Office (LTO), Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), and One Town, One Product (OTOP) Hub, to name a few, will also provide their services in the app for citizens to access and avail.

Social Welfare

KaisaKa has in-app services where users can apply online for the use of government facilities, financial assistance programs for different purposes, and Special Program for the Employment of Students (SPES).

“Ang pinakamagandang feature po natin yung Action Center,” Mayor Tan said, “…kung saan pinipilahan niyo pa po nang matagal, ngayon po pwede na kayong mag-online application, kung saan isa-submit niyo na po yung documents and pi-pick-up-an na lang ang financial assistance.”

There is also a digital job portal where citizens can browse current job openings around the city, and an “Explore Santiago” section that supports local tourism through highlighting local restaurants, landmarks, and must-visit places in the city.

The Santiago City mayor also shared the local government’s vision to be able to host national events like Palarong Pambansa through strengthening local tourism and local businesses, such as hotels and restaurants.

Public Safety and Emergency

Citizens of Santiago City can submit concerns in the KaisaKa app by selecting a category of their concern, identifying the location, and submitting pictures of the issue, which the city government will address within a few days, depending on the complexity of the concern.

Santiagueños can also book medical appointments through the app to avail free healthcare services from the City Health Office, such as free health wellness therapy for patients who have suffered from strokes, free rehabilitation center, free dialysis center, free medicine, and free medical consultations from doctors in the city.
