NAGA CITY, 20 JUNE 2026 — MyNaga App was recognized as one of the models for digital governance at the 10th ClickConEx: Convergence of Luzon ICT Champions and Exhibitions held at Naga City on June 19 – 21, 2026.
Mayor Leni Robredo, who served as Keynote Speaker at the convention, introduced Naga City’s 2028 Finish Lines, a comprehensive list of eight distinct developmental goals, in which MyNaga App was featured as one of the progressive projects under the open, digital, and participatory goal.
Paperless Government Services in MyNaga
“The app is designed to aggregate services, records, early warning systems, and reporting tools into a single portal,” Robredo said as she introduced MyNaga to the attendees at ClickConEx.
MyNaga App also provides government services through paperless processes, such as the application of business permits and the payment of real property taxes, examples of services that can be done through the app without going to the Naga City Hall.
Bicol’s Leading App for Citizen Concerns
MyNaga App became the largest citizen engagement platform in the Bicol Region, gathering more than 33,000 downloads from the App Store and Google Play Store.
While initially created as a mobile counterpart of the city’s website, the addition of a complaint feature quickly attracted citizens to the app, processing more than 5,500 citizen complaints and resolving around 4,500 reports in collaboration with offices and departments in Naga City Government.
“Complaints button is the most used feature on the app, and that was how many of our community concerns over the past year reached us,” Robredo added.
Faster Way to Resolve Citizen Complaints
Due to the high traffic, the local government unit had to disseminate the categories of the reports among the 50 offices for efficiency.
Every government office features a designated MyNaga App Team Leader who is accountable for answering and resolving citizen concerns that fall under their jurisdiction.
The system was efficient that Robredo even shared an anecdote—Nagueños would recommend the app to one another in Facebook comment sections under her posts because the system there yields better results than raising a complaint through commenting.
Empowering Good Governance Through Innovation
The ClickConEx event united various leaders across government and business sectors who share a collective vision of improving governance efforts through modern technologies.
Robredo gave recognition to the ecosystem of innovators that collaborate with the government sector to create digital solutions that empower good and transparent governance.
