Traveling with your fur baby doesn’t have to be a “ruff” experience! To ensure your journey is safe, comfortable, and hassle-free, preparation is important. Easybus PH’s partner bus lines have specific policies for traveling with pets, which are compiled here for a fur parent to review before heading to the terminal.
Standard Pet Policies for Bus Lines
Bus lines such as Raymond, NEXT Bus, Bragais, Cherry, and Viron allow online bookings with pets as one of the passengers. Just make sure to observe the following policies:
1. Size Limits
Only small (less than 10 kg) to medium-sized (11-26 kg) pets are permitted inside the bus.
2. Safety
Pets must remain secured inside a cage or a carrier throughout the journey.
3. Hygiene
Pets must wear animal diapers and be odor-free to ensure the comfort of all passengers in the bus.
4. Seat Booking
Your pet will occupy the seat beside you, so you will need to pay for two (2) seats upon booking for you and your pet.
Special Pet Policies per Bus Line
The standard policies that were previously shown above still apply for these bus lines, but they include extra requirements for the added safety and convenience of the passengers and for your pet:
1. Bicol Isarog
You must present an anti-rabies vaccination card for your pet and a vet travel permit before boarding the bus.
2. Candon Bus
They offer a 20% fare discount on the bus seat for your pet.
3. Ohayami
Small pets (less than 10 kg) are only allowed on Ohayami. Similar to Bicol Isarog’s policy, Ohayami also needs to see an anti-rabies vaccination card and a vet travelpermit.
